Unstuck: Moving Forward with Your Personal and Career Agendas
Dr. Roberta Brody, Professor GSLIS, Queens College

Presents strategies for balancing the everyday tasks at work and at home with your long range career and personal goals. Offers tactics for creating a path, moving forward, and maintaining momentum at a pace that matches your workstyle.

Roberta Brody is a Professor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College, where she teaches courses in digital humanities and humanities resources, business research, and competitive intelligence. Bobby is both a creator and collector of artists books.

 

Navigating Time Management Obstacles
Dr. Janet Butler Munch, Professor, Lehman College

Do you feel overwhelmed and frustrated with too much to do? We will explore strategies to sharpen our focus and accomplish our goals.

Janet Butler Munch is Professor & Special Collections Librarian at Lehman College, CUNY.  Drawing on her administrative and management experiences, she will offer ideas on effectively coping with the demands facing our librarians.

 

Productivity and the Production of Ourselves
Robert Farrell, Associate Professor, Lehman College

When we acquire new productivity skills, what happens to us? Do we discover new avenues of freedom? Or do we simply become better adapted to the institutions in which we participate? Robert will consider some of the productivity techniques he employs in light of these questions and hopefully raise even more.

Robert Farrell lives and works in the Bronx, NY where he is an Associate Professor at the Leonard Lief Library at Lehman College, City University of New York. In addition to serving as the Coordinator of Information Literacy and Assessment there, he is also the campus chair of his local union chapter. He is and does many other things as well.
