Virtual Reference: To Chat or Not to Chat

Please register by May 14 and note the following changes:
1. Time has been changed to 9:00 am.
2. Breakfast will be provided.
3. Alternate parking directions (to avoid graduation crowds):

  • (OPTION 1): Take the second or Main Entrance from Nicolls Rd. (Rte. 97). Turn left at
    the stop sign and proceed to the Administration Parking Garage.
  • (OPTION 2): From Nicolls Rd. (Rte. 97), take the first entrance on the left (South
    Entrance). From South Drive, turn right onto Marburger Drive. At the
    fork, turn rught onto Circle Road. At the second stop sign, turn left and
    into Administration Parking Garage. Important: Tell the traffic/parking
    attendants that your destination is the Melville Library, not graduation!

    Please note that the Main Entrance will be closed at 9:30 am.

Directions from Northern State Parkway: At the end of eastbound Northern State Parkway, Northern State Parkway becomes NY-347 E. Follow this for about 6 mi. and turn left on CR-97 N (Nicolls Rd.). Turn left into the Main Entrance of Stony Brook University.

Directions from Long Island Expressway: Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) eastbound to exit 62, and follow Nicolls Road (Route 97) north for 9 miles. The Main Entrance to the University is on the left.
