The Greater Metropolitan New York City Chapter of ACRL/NY continues to stand against racism, and we stand in support with everyone seeking justice at this time -especially our friends, colleagues, and neighbors who are protesting night after night in New York City in support of black lives and against police brutality. As an organization that encourages the exchange of ideas and provides support to our library community, we will continue to strengthen our anti-racist practice and we pledge to use our platform and resources for this work. We are committed to doing our part in dismantling the institutions in the library and information profession that have long upheld white privilege and supremacy.
