ACRL/NY members, please join the Information Literacy/Instruction Discussion Group for a presentation on “You’re the Boss of Your Money: Financial Literacy for our Students Through MoneyBoss Workshops.”

College students are woefully unprepared to manage their money. The MoneyBoss workshops were created at LaGuardia Community College to educate students on how to create a budget, learn about their credit, and even how to start their own small business.

Learn how MoneyBoss began, how we promote workshops to students, and how you can implement financial literacy workshops at your institution:
