Have you ever considered reaching out to the public library near your campus?

How can academic and public library collaborations support our First Year Experience students?

Our spring meeting will address collaborations between academic and public libraries. Academic librarians can help public librarians develop programs that support college readiness.

Some of the topics we will address are:

  • outreach ideas
  • collection sharing
  • programing ideas
  • college readiness

Our Guest presenter: Ms. Lilian Calix, Young Adult Services librarian with the Tremont Branch of NYPL.
