ACRL/NY Mentoring Program and New Librarians Discussion Group End-of-Year Meeting

RSVP: https://acrlnyforms.wufoo.com/forms/acrlny-mentoring-and-new-librarians-meeting/

Join us to celebrate the end of the academic year and to discuss the benefits of mentoring and support for new academic librarians. We will network, reflect on the past, plan for the future, and have a focused discussion on diversity and inclusion in the job search, and in the workplace. Your input will help us to plan and create upcoming workshops and events, and enhance our existing mentoring program. We will share ideas on how we can create and sustain a welcoming workplace (and professional community) for all librarians and library staff. All ACRL/NY members, especially those interested (or participating) in the mentoring program and new or emerging librarians, are encouraged to attend.

Refreshments will be served.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 6, 2017, 5:30pm a 7:00pm

WHERE: Mina Rees Library, CUNY Graduate Center, 365 5th Ave, New York, NY 10016, Room C196.05
