ACRL/NY Event: 10 Best Tips for New Librarians – Thursday, January 31, 2019

As a library student, job seeker, or someone new to a library position, what advice or information would you find most useful or necessary? As a mentor what advice would you share? Let’s roll up our sleeves and work together to determine the 10 key things to have in mind. We’ll also share insights from some experienced colleagues from a variety of academic contexts. We’ll share ideas and knowledge, network and snack. Please join us.

Bring a notebook for journaling, and ideas and questions to share.

Join the ACRL/NY New Librarians’ Discussion Group and Mentoring Program for an exploration of this topic and networking with colleagues! Refreshments will be served.
