Deadline: July 8, 2024

Incorporating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into your library marketing and outreach activities involves creating a welcoming space with inclusive programming, exhibits, and collections. Addressing DEI in your strategic plan helps foster a sense of belonging, and promotes the diversity of your library users.

For our Summer 2024 meeting, we are seeking lightning round presentations that share how your library promotes inclusivity and incorporates DEI practices into your marketing. What marketing or outreach activities have been developed that create a more equitable experience for your users? How does your library bring its services and collections to specific communities through outreach? How have you used market research to develop more inclusive spaces or services in your library?
