In this presentation, Lisa will speak about the theory and process of design thinking in libraries. She will discuss the theoretical and practical differences between “UX” and “Design” and discuss the process of design thinking for libraries. More specifically, she will provide examples of how to apply design thinking to any library or project (big or small, low or high budget). Lastly, she will discuss her upcoming journal article, which will be published in the upcoming issue of Weave: The Journal of Library User Experience.
