The Association of College and Research Libraries / Greater New York Metropolitan Area Chapter (ACRL/NY) is pleased to offer another round of mentoring partnerships for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ACRL/NY Mentoring Program pairs experienced academic librarians with Library & Information Science students or those new to the field to facilitate an exchange of ideas and knowledge, provide opportunities for a shared learning experience, and make available the benefits of networking within the academic librarian community.

Mentors and Mentees will be paired based on expertise and need. Program participants should be able to commit to communicating with their mentee/mentor at least two times per month. Benefits include monthly discussion prompts and in-person programs held in conjunction with the New Librarians Discussion Group during the year. To learn more, see the Mentoring Program page
