The Research/Writing Support Group offers ACRL/NY members a welcoming environment to share their concerns and ideas regarding the stressful practice that is scholarly research. Topics discussed include, but are not limited to, how to find a home for one’s research, ways to find time for research and writing in the course of our busy lives, anxiety relating to the process, and avoiding intellectual drift. The group also meets regularly every four to six weeks for Shut Up and Write programs where focus on working on individual projects in a focused, deliberate manner.
