ACRL/NY First Year Experience Discussion Group Meeting
Librarians and New Student Orientation
Are you involved in your college’s New Student Orientation? How does your library participate? What types of activities does your library plan? Do you partner with other campus departments when planning New Student Orientation? Perhaps you facilitate workshops just for faculty. Join us for a lively conversation as we discuss and share ideas on how librarians take part in New Student Orientation, the types of activities we engage in, and the collaborations we make with other campus departments.
We encourage you to bring your examples to the discussion. This will be an informal meeting where we share ideas and learn from each other.
