Lee
S. Strickland
Lee S. Strickland is a visiting professor at the
University
of
Maryland, where he holds a joint appointment to the
College
of
Information Studies
and the College Park Scholars Program. He is an attorney and a career
intelligence officer with the U.S. Federal Government, and has been a member of
the Senior Intelligence Service since 1986. In his career with the
U.S.
government, principally with the Central Intelligence Agency, he has had a
number of senior legal, policy, information technology, and information
management positions. Mr. Strickland has also served as a Special Assistant U.S.
Attorney for the
District of Columbia
and with the Joint Special Operations Agency. At the
University
of
Maryland
he developed a course on Information and the War on Terrorism. He has written a
number of articles on national security and information.
