Position Summary:
Perform original and copy cataloging tasks of rare book, manuscripts and archival materials in Hebrew and other languages. Use bibliographic utilities, such as OCLC, and authority records to compose accurate descriptive data. Input records into Virtua.

This is a temporary position for 25 weeks and will be 19 hours per week.

Position Responsibilities:
• Perform original and copy cataloging of materials in Hebrew and other languages under the supervision of a catalog librarian
• Use bibliographic utilities and authority records to create accurate descriptive data
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience & Education Background:
• 2 years of library experience preferred
• ALA-accredited Master of Library Science degree is highly preferred

Skills & Competencies:
• Very good reading proficiency in Hebrew required
• Basic knowledge of European languages desired
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Accuracy and attention to detail
