Job Description
The J. Spencer and Patricia Standish Library of Siena College is seeking an adjunct librarian to fulfill up to 18 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends, during the fall and spring semesters. Primary responsibilities include in-person and online reference services, while additional duties may include developing reference and instructional materials, weeding and collection development, and general library support.
Job Requirements
● Must possess an ALA-accredited master’s degree
● Working knowledge of reference practices and skillsets
● Experience searching library databases and familiarity with traditional
reference sources
● Must have a thorough understanding of library technologies and services
● Reference experience (may include internship work) preferred
