Access Services and Instruction Librarian — The College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY

Are you a student-centered librarian passionate about excellent public service, library instruction, and student engagement? The College of Saint Rose announces the search for a 12-month, tenure-track Access Services and Instruction Librarian. Reporting to the Director of Library Services, this position oversees all library circulation operations at the Neil Hellman Library, including course reserves, and helps improve students’ information literacy skills through bibliographic instruction sessions and online instructional/research aids. The Access Services and Instruction librarian will work with colleagues as part of the research services team, coordinate student outreach initiatives, and collaborate on ways to infuse principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion into library services, policies, and programs. Faculty responsibilities include advising students, attending internal and external events, serving on Library and College Committees, and engaging in professional development.
