Part-time Research Services Librarian, Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY

Marist College invites applications for two Research Services Librarian opportunities to provide research services to faculty and students in multiple formats and locations. S/he assists patrons with reference queries, instructs patrons in use of library resources and online library system and conducts online and other database searches. Work schedule during academic year*:

Schedule 1:
Monday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Wednesday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Schedule 2:
Sunday 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* Hours will be adjusted during breaks and intersessions.

Qualifications
An MLS Degree from an ALA-accredited library school and some experience teaching information literacy required. Reference and public services experience in an academic library with database searching capability is required. Must be familiar with current developments in providing instructional services. Clear written and oral communication skills also required.
