ENY/ACRL 2015: Call for lightning round and poster sessions — May 19, 2015

The Eastern New York Chapter of ACRL invites presenters for Lightning Round and Poster sessions at its Spring Conference which will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at SUNY Binghamton in Binghamton, NY. This meeting will focus on the broad theme of Building Supportive Organization Cultures in Libraries.

LIGHTNING ROUNDS

Presentations are limited to 5 minutes! Share a quick overview of your ideas, experience, and programs related to any and all forms of Library and Librarian support: for research support, public services, organizational structures, relationships with other departments, outreach, what works, what doesn’t, etc.

POSTER SESSIONS

Poster sessions are an excellent opportunity to share your ideas, research findings, projects, solutions to problems, or best practices. Posters will be on display throughout the day and presenters must be available to discuss their topics for at least one 30 minutes time slot.

Proposals should include:
· Presenter’s name and position title (If there is more than one presenter, choose one person to be the contact)
· Institution
· Contact information including phone number, email, and mailing address
· Title of presentation
· Technology, electricity and space needs
· Summary description of less than 250 words

Deadline for proposals is March 23, 2015. Proposals received after this date may be considered if there is still space available for participation. Candidates will be notified of acceptance by April 1, 2015.
