Coordinator, Reference and Research Services Outreach and Marketing, University at Albany, SUNY, Albany, NY

The University at Albany Libraries (State University of New York, Albany, NY) seek a Coordinator, Reference and Research Services Outreach and Marketing who has a strong commitment to public services and is highly motivated to develop and implement innovative undergraduate-focused outreach programs and initiatives, focusing on student groups such as living learning communities, international students, at-risk students, transfer students, students living off campus, and online students in order to increase student awareness and use of the University Libraries’ collections, services, and facilities. The successful candidate will understand the role of reference and research services and information literacy instruction in academic libraries and work to integrate them into outreach programs and initiatives. Position supervises one librarian and includes assigned hours at the reference desk, including some evening/weekend hours. Tenure-track library faculty at the University at Albany, SUNY, are expected to engage in research, publication, and service to the University Libraries, the University, and the profession, as required for promotion and continuing appointment. Reports to the Associate Director for Public Services.
