A�The 2013 ACRL/NY Annual Symposium a�?The Library as KnowledgeA�Laboratorya�? will explore the opportunities and challenges facing academic librarians in light of scholarsa�� increased demands for new formats, open-source tools, digital repositories, and innovative research methods in the new knowledge laboratory. ACRL/NY invites you to submit a poster session proposal for the 2013 Symposium.A� Your poster session can address any issue related to this theme.A� Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Transforming physical space
  • Service models
  • Scalability and/or Sustainability
  • Interaction between IT, faculty and librarians
  • New staffing needs and job titles
  • Re-skilling
  • Changing culture
  • Securing real estate
  • Assessment/Evaluation of programs and people
  • Connecting to teaching faculty
  • Promoting a program to library administration
  • Managing administrative expectations
