Marketing LibrariesA�JournalA�(MLJ) is a new, online, peer reviewed journal that is international in scope and devoted to advancing research in library marketing and its components (public relations, publicity, outreach, advocacy, and marketing communications). A�A�TheA�JournalA�is open to all libraries; public, academic, and special. A� Marketing Libraries Journal (MLJ)A�is independently published, open access (gold & green), and will be published twice a year. We hope to publish our first issue this summer or fall 2017.

We are looking for peer reviewers and columnists for our new journal. We are seeking the expertise of librarians and (non-MLS) library professionals who have experience in library marketing, PR, communications, and who are engaged in student, faculty, and community outreach. We are also inviting practitioners such as communication professionals who are experienced in media relations and graphic designers.

We plan to publish two issues a year and we are seeking peer reviewers from diverse fields. Peer reviewers will also be invited to participate on the advisory role of the journal. The Journal will comprise both peer reviewed journal articles and practical columns (not peer reviewed) that focus on technology, marketing campaigns, branding, advocacy, a�?from the trenchesa�? editorials, and book reviews.
