Building Bridges: 2017 LARC /WLA Joint Annual Conference – May 5, 2017 – Palisades, NY

Two library associations, the Westchester Library Association and the Library Association of Rockland County will co-sponsor the Building Bridges: 2017 LARC – WLA Annual Conference in Rockland County, a few minutes south of the Tappan Zee Bridge. Come learn new things, meet new people and earn more CE credits. The theme of the conference was chosen to acknowledge the collaborative spirit of the two library associations based on the east and west sides of the Hudson River and to recognize the construction of the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

Discounts: Discounted rates for members and for those who meet the Early Bird deadline: April 17, 2017

Payment: Select “Pay Online” or “Invoice Me.” If your employer will pay for you or for a group of staff members, each person should register on their own and then select the “Invoice Me” option. Those people will receive two follow-up emails. One will be the invoice itself and one will be a notification that the registration is not complete. You should make two copies of the invoice, one for your finance person and one for LARC.

Transportation: If you coming from Westchester and would like to carpool, we have permission for 25 cars to park at the Westchester Library System at 570 Taxter Rd., Elmsford. Send requests to Sara Rodgers srodgers@wlsmail.org The first 25 will get a pass to park.
