The James P. Adams Library at Rhode Island College invites applications for the full-time position of Reference Librarian at the rank of Assistant Professor. This is a tenure-track appointment. The individual will be responsible for providing library instruction, reference and research support, collection development, and serving as a liaison to academic department/school . The individual will serve as a member of the Library faculty. This is an anticipated vacancy for Summer 2015 and final appointment is subject to available funds.

Required qualification include: MLS/MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited program, a minimum of three years experience in an academic library; library instruction, reference and collection development experience.
