Assistant Librarian, Part-time temporary position – SUNY Broome Community College –

SUNY Broome Community College has an immediate opening available for a temporary part-time Assistant Librarian to work in an active reference environment. This is a 19 – 20 hour/week position which includes working some morning, weeknight, and weekend hours per week for the Spring 2016 semester. Duties include: providing reference services to students, faculty and community patrons in a highly networked environment; developing and implementing library instruction including web-based materials. A master’s degree from an ALA – accredited library and information science program is required. Three years of professional library experience, or an appropriate combination of librarianship, relevant work experience, and scholarly activity. This position does not offer benefits. Salary is $31.71 per hour.
