Adjunct Library Instructor for English and Comparative Literature — Queens College, CUNY –Queens, NY.

Queens College, a four year college in the CUNY system, seeks a non-teaching adjunct to cover instruction sessions in Spring 2016.

The adjunct will work with English and Comparative Literature classes aimed at students early in the major and classes which fulfill general education requirements, and others as assigned.

The position covers 75 hours, including one hour of prep time for every two hours of class. Flexible schedule required.

MLS degree
Background in English, Comparative Literature, or a related discipline
Ability to collaborate with instructors
Interest in teaching

Preferred qualifications:
Teaching experience
Experience with LibGuides
Bachelora��s or advanced degree in English, Comparative Literature or a related discipline.
