Adjunct Instructor (1 Credit Information Literacy Course) — Queens College –Queens, N.Y.

Queens College, a four-year college in the CUNY system, is seeking adjunct instructors to teach a one-credit Information Literacy course at Queens College. This is course is designated for SEEK students. The adjunct will teach one or two sections of the course.

The classes available are as follows:

Wednesday 1:40-3:30
Thursday 8:00-9:50
Thursday 12:10-2:00
Friday 1:30-3:20

The class runs for eight weeks, from January 29 through March. A core syllabus will be provided to help guide lesson plans and assessment.

MLS degree
Ability to develop lesson plans
Ability to assess studentsa�� progress
Familiarity with the principles of academic research

Preferred qualifications:
Teaching experience
Experience with the library resources available at Queens College or CUNY
